Christmas Bicycle Special - Great Gift for Mountain Biker - 2010 Specialized Hardrock Disc at Montrose

Montrose Bike Shop is probably a lot closer than you think.  Located just a mile off the Glendale Fwy (2) at the Verdugo Blvd Exit turn East.  Verdugo becomes Honolulu.  Or you can take the southbound exit of Ocean View off the 210 and then East on Honolulu.

Montrose Bike Shop has a huge inventory of Specialized Bicycles, but here is the first of four that are getting special discounts for Christmas.

This entree level Mountain Bike would make a great Christmas gift for any teen or adult ready to try cycling on trails instead of roads.  Works fine on roads, too, but designed for the dirt.

2010 Specialized Hardrock Disc list $470 sale price $399.99

Specialized vs Trek - The Great Debate Unfolds at Montrose Bike Shop

Specialized Bicycle Company makes a lot of great bicycles. They are especially known for their mountain bikes and have the distinction of marketing the first mass production mountain bike, the Stumpjumper. Today, Specialized is a recognized tier one manufacturer of a full range of bicycles. They have beginner and commuter bikes. They make professional bikes that can cost up to $10,000 in mountain, trail, cross country, triathlon, and road styles. They make the very best quality and performance bikes of any mass produced brand.

Trek Bicycles makes a lot of great bicycles. They are especially known for their rode bikes, having tied their already dominant star status to Lance Armstrong during the 90's and early 2000's. Today Trek is a recognized tier one manufacturer of a full range of bicycles, The have beginner and commuter bikes. They make professional bikes that cost up to $10,000 in road, mountain, trail, cross country, and triathlon styles. They make the very best quality and performance bikes of any mass produced brand.

Did we mention that we are completely neutral. We carry the two clear leaders in the world of bicycles in the same location. We aren't choosing sides. We let you decide.

Specialized 2010 Stumpjumper Mountain Bike Video You Will Watch Over and Over

This video is so fascinating to watch, because you get to see the front fork suspension in action.  It is amazing to see how it totally absorbs everything the road can throw at it.  This is double fun because it is taken in winter in the snow.  Check it out.

Then check out everything else at this blog site about the Stumpjumper.
